Trying to heal from the loss of her sister and a failed relationship she rerouted her life for, she's ready to graduate and finally leave Florida behind.
When a run-in with Jackson and his rowdy crew goes sour at the bar one night, sparks fly and irreversible damage is done. It’s no secret that Jackson loves to get underneath her skin, but this time he's gone too far. Now all he wants is to earn her forgiveness before she's gone for good, but their ideas of closure—and the future—are enough to keep them worlds apart.

THE AIKIDO-KA - A Parker Mystery - Mystery
Rated 5 stars on 2 reviews
Description: Creating characters that are not caricatures is often the most difficult task for a writer. Parker, and the cast of this new Aikido (Parker) Mystery fill the bill as real, down to earth people. I especially enjoyed building the role of Tommy, he was a gift from a friend and I hope that I succeeded. The opening scene occurred to me when on vacation in Montreal. My close friend C.S. took me to eat at Schwartz's Hebrew Delicatessen and I was enthralled. It is a place that is as absolutely real as the Statue of Liberty. I loved it and knew the moment I walked in Parker would be visiting it in my pages. A complicated book in some ways, especially when looking at the nuances of relationships, still it has the excitement of any good chase and the subtlety of a hidden Aikido technique.
