The Troll Hunter: Kindle Book of the Day 2/7

Today's book of the day comes from author Keith C. Blackmore, whose novel Mountain Man was a huge hit when it was featured here last month. Now we're very pleased to be showing off The Troll Hunter, a heroic fantasy novel that will really get your blood pumping. Nonstop action in a fantasy setting with unique characters make this a novel worth picking up. Check it out!

Name: The Troll Hunter
Rating: 4.1 stars over 7 reviews
Price: 2.99
Description: A warrior with a secret.
A band of cutthroats.
And a monster of legend.

Battle rusty from the war infirmaries, a company of Sujins, the heavy infantry of Sunja, march north. They guard a mysterious koch destined for another land. Whipped by the murderous Rusk the Two Knife and led by the enigmatic Bloor, the only cavalier to survive the Field of Skulls, they will march into the unknown, and arrive at the teeth of hell.

And only one man will possess the skills to bring the survivors back.

A tale of heroic fantasy. Some graphic violence and language.

Reviews: "The Troll Hunter was a fun read from beginning to end. It mixes graphic, exhilarating battle scenes with entertaining character development, humorous dialogue, escalating suspense/mystery and a plot filled with corruption, betrayal and defiance. A classically-written fantasy novel but can also be easily enjoyed by those who don't normally stroll in the fantasy genre as it is not obnoxiously far-fetched and hard to follow. Overall, highly recommended!"

  1. How about some good westerns?

  2. That's a good idea, Don, though I'll be honest and say I'm not aware of too many westerns beyond Lonesome Dove and Cormac McCarthy. I'll keep an eye out though!
