2012 The Fifth World: Today's Kindle Book 2/21

If you're a thriller fan, there's a new name you need to know: Edward G. Talbot. This duo writing under one name has burst onto the scene lately with action-packed, captivating thrillers like today's book of the day, 2012: The Fifth World. An Ex-Army Operative fighting off the apocalypse? Sounds like stuffing Dean Koontz and Tom Clancy together in one novel. Do yourself a favor and read this novel...before it's too late.

Name: 2012: The Fifth World (A Simon Gray Thriller)
Rating: 5.0 stars over 3 reviews
Price: 3.99
Description: Sometimes, the end of the world needs a little help.

Simon Gray stopped fighting years ago when he left the Army, but the CIA has made him an offer he can't refuse: the opportunity to take down Guatemalan arms dealer Yum Cimil. Cimil considers himself Maya royalty, and is planning worldwide destruction to usher in the Maya Fifth World on December 21, 2012.

Simon knows all too well the damage Cimil is capable of. This time, it's stolen nukes and a presidential kidnapping. Decades earlier, it was more . . .personal. Now he'll get his chance for revenge, but stopping Cimil won't be enough. Homo sapiens isn't the only hominid with skin in this game, and Simon must prevent an attack that threatens the very existence of the human race.

Reviews: "I loved this book. I found myself with some unexpected time on my hands so I was able to burn through this book in almost a day. I couldn't put it down. It just grabbed you and wouldn't let you go. It has plenty of action and suspense all woven in to a well thought out and tightly written story. The main character (Simon Gray)is a flawed but likable character. I really liked that he isn't a super hero but just a man with some varied life experiences."
